Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Inductees (A-B)

A constant reader of this here little music blog suggested that I post the entire list of inductees to the R&R Hall Of Fame. Quite a task, but I'm up for it...just not all at once.
So it'll be an ongoing series then, taken in hunks and chunks, alphabetically I think.
Let's start with all those inductees whose name starts with either "A" or "B":
A
AC/DC
Paul Ackerman
Aerosmith
The Allman Brothers Band
Herb Alpert
The Animals
Louis Armstrong
Chet Atkins
B
LaVern Baker
Hank Ballard
The Band
Frank Barsalona
Dave Bartholomew
Ralph Bass
The Beach Boys
The Beatles
Bee Gees
Benny Benjamin
Chuck Berry
Black Sabbath
Chris Blackwell
Hal Blaine
Bobby Bland
Jerry Blavat
Blondie (band)
Booker T. & the M.G.'s
David Bowie
Charles Brown (musician)
James Brown
Ruth Brown
Jackson Browne
Buffalo Springfield
Solomon Burke
James Burton
The Byrds

Interesting...
Think I'm going use this as a checklist, to see how many of the inductees I have in my collection.
Looking forward to the next 'chunk'

what's the point of your comment, anonymous?

I just got back from a week's trip to the Midwest, where we made a stop at the R&RHofF. It was an engrossing experience, but also very frustrating. Skewed as that list of inductees is, what's even worse is the unevenness of the collection displayed. There's a ton of Jimi Hendrix memorabilia but hardly anything for Clapton; more on Ricky Nelson than on Elvis Presley; and more from ZZ Top than the Kinks -- well, you can imagine how my blood pressure rose. Though I don't know what else I expected from an institution that has honored Madonna.

All the same, it's well worth a drive to Cleveland. (We threw in an Indians game as well.) Seeing Jim Morrison's report cards was worth the price of admission.

Thanks Matt, Rump and Holly. Anonymous...whatever. Your opinion is valid here although your bitterness is, well, just kinda sad. In the immortal words of William Shatner, "Hey..you! Have you ever kissed a girl? Get a life, man."
