Lyle Lovett, Lyle Lovett

Man, I love this album - lyrically, a masterpiece. This Old Porch is one of my faves:

"And this old porch is like a steaming, greasy plate of enchiladas
With lots of cheese and onions
And a guacamole salad
And you can get'em down at the Lasalle Hotel
In old downtown
With iced tea and a waitress
And she will smile every time"

Knocked Out Loaded/Bob Dylan, I know most folks consider this Dylan's low-point, but any album with Brownsville Girl on it is not a "low-point"...
No Guru, No Method, No Teacher/Van Morrison
Laurie Anderson's Home of the Brave
Did you put Elvis' King of America?
Springsteen's Live 1975-85 box set
Guitar Town-Steve Earle
Ivor Cutler released 2 that year...Gruts and Prince Ivor
So-Peter Gabriel
Your Funeral, My Trial -Nick Cave

Thanks Erin, adding the lyrics was a nice touch.
And Harry, it's an honor to have your magnificence comment on my blog. Picking Bob Dylan's Knocked Out Loaded is an interesting choice...I think you've been hanging around that cartoonist, Philbert, a little too much. I hear you're Phil's campaign manager, eh? You must like a challenge!
